Renee's strong work ethic and can-do attitude make her a favorite among fellow entrepreneurs, while her experiences owning and running several successful enterprises have taught her much about the challenges of running a profitable small business.

Renee's professional journey has taken her from the offices of a North Shore financial research firm, along the roads of entrepreneurship, and into the rapidly-evolving arena of accounting and small business consulting. She brings the skills she has gathered along the way, blending her Northwestern University education in the field of Organizational Behavior with an MBA (accounting concentration) from Keller Graduate School of Management.

Renee deeply values ongoing continuing education in accounting, software integration and business systems management. She has important analytical skills and is a CPA candidate in the state of Illinois.

On a personal note, Renee is recently married to David Melville, has 3 almost grown sons, two wonderful step-daughters, and a cherished black lab. She enjoys travel, nature, gardening, self-improvement and personal financial investment.
